The department is the pre-eminent center in Turkey on diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of childhood rheumatic diseases. Treatment and follow-up of patients with arthritis, other inflammatory conditions and non-inflammatory rheumatologic problems are carried out according to the most up-to-date national and international guidelines.

We are a multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists, nurses and administrators who all work together to support our patients and their families. 

In our Transitional Clinic, we see our patients over 17 years old together with Adult Rheumatology Department at their last 2 appointments before the age of 18, to facilitate easier transfer to adult clinics.
